Turn plants into colour and craft your personal silk scarf to take home! Discover the vibrant colours of plants and learn how to create botanical prints on natural textiles using flowers, leaves, roots and botanical extracts.

In this 3-hour Natural Dye & Botanical Printing Workshop in Madrid, we focus on the creative process of eco-printing on fabric. You will experiment with plant-based colour, create a first sample to gain confidence, and then design and print your own unique silk scarf using fresh and dried flowers.

This hands-on textile dyeing experience connects you with nature while exploring sustainable design techniques. You will leave with a one-of-a-kind silk scarf that reflects your personality and creative style — ready to wear the same day.

About Studio Folklore

Botanical textile studio founded by Paola Mckenna, a passionate plant enthusiast and natural dye artist. After extensive training in natural dyes in Colombia and Ireland, she opened her creative space in Madrid.

Her mission is to preserve and share traditional plant dyeing techniques through unique botanical experiences that are practical, sensory and creativity-driven. The workshops are designed to foster artistic expression and mindful connection with nature within urban environments.

3-hour workshop.

There are four workshops per month:

• Guided in Spanish: Saturday from 11:00 to 14:00

• Guided in English: Friday from 12:00 to 14:30
