About Fungi Cerâmica
After many years working in film and photography in Buenos Aires, Francisco Iurcovich sought a calmer profession away from screens and created Fungi Cerâmica.
Focused on crafting everyday pieces, he pursues the beauty of imperfection and the uniqueness of handmade work as an ideology against an industrialized, impersonal world. With influences from both Eastern traditions and his Latin American roots,
Fungi’s daily practice seeks a connection with clay that centers both body and mind.
Today, Fungi combines artistic work with the production of pieces for cafés and restaurants, continually experimenting with different techniques, clays, and glazes
