About this Experience

Customize your mug! Pottery painting workshop in Lisbon. After this experience you'll have a new favourite mug to accompany you in you slow morning rituals and weekend brunches, reminding you of a beautiful, inspiring and creative moment.

In this 2 hour workshop you’ll be painting your next favourite ceramic mug, playing and experimenting with glazes to conclude in the most inspiring design to take home with you or gift someone you love. 

How does it work?

1. Start with a carefully selected mug, ready for your creative touch.
2. Pick your favorite glaze color to make it uniquely yours.
3. Enjoy two hours of relaxing, hands-on painting fun.
4. Leave the rest to us! We’ll fire your masterpiece in the kiln, and in two weeks, it will be ready for you to take home and enjoy.

Includes

• 2 hours of creative experience in a beautiful, sunny open space
• 1 ceramic mug to paint
• all necessary materials and tools provided
• glazing included
• firing (second oven batch) 

Post-baking pieces are ready in 2 weeks for pick up, we will email you to let you know the date, or a shipping quote can be provided if needed. Please note that we can only keep pieces 3 months after you have been notified.

Beginner.

Anyone, with or without experience, can attend our workshop.

Appropriate for kids. Children under 7, should be supervised by an adult.

About Mitó Creative Site

Sara Matos Ferreira is the founder of Mitó Creative Site in Lisbon. After an early career in environmental engineering and the construction industry, Sara made a life-changing shift towards creativity and craftsmanship, following years of volunteer work in Mozambique and a renewed connection with her artistic passions.

She combines her love for ceramics, jewellery and the visual arts, sharing her knowledge through workshops that celebrate creativity, hands-on learning and the joy of making things with your own hands.
